TRANSLATIONS, The Exhibition

Hoogland Center for the Arts Gallery, Springfield, Illinois

Translations featuring the work of artists David Brodsky, Jed Leber, and Corrin Smithson McWhirter will be on display at the Prairie Art Alliance Gallery in the Hoogland from April 29 – June 16.

In this exhibition, each artist uses their artistic medium to translate internal narratives into a conversation with the viewer.

David Brodsky captures photographic moments which shed light on truth, emotion, and humanity in his search for the soul of things.

Jed Leber creates sculptural objects out of found materials designed to establish a conversation between artist and the viewer.

Corrin Smithson McWhirter's work, inspired by her early years of motherhood, uses detailed line drawings to draw attention to simple elements of everyday spaces.
